    Day 3-5: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

    Fly to Kisoro and travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the renowned home of the mountain gorilla. Spend two days in this UNESCO World Heritage site with guided treks to see the gorillas in their natural habitat. Each trek provides a unique opportunity to observe the gorillas up close as they eat, play, and rest. A truly magical experience!

    Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park

    Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its diverse ecosystems and prolific game. Enjoy an afternoon game drive where you might spot elephants, lions, leopards, and numerous bird species. Stay in a comfortable lodge overlooking the expansive savannah plains.

    Day 7: Lake Mburo National Park

    Head to Lake Mburo National Park, a gem of a park, known for its richness in biodiversity and beautiful, tranquil surroundings. Enjoy a boat trip on the lake and see hippos, crocodiles and a variety of water birds in their natural environment. Finish the day with a night game drive in search of nocturnal animals and their elusive behaviors.

    Day 8: Return to Kampala/Entebbe

    After a morning safari walk in Lake Mburo, make your way back to Kampala or Entebbe, where your unforgettable journey into the wild heart of Uganda will conclude.

    Day 3-5: Volcanoes National Park

    Travel north to the famed Volcanoes National Park, setting for Dian Fossey's pioneering gorilla research. Over the next three days, you will have the opportunity to embark on two gorilla treks which offer intimate encounters with these gentle giants — a truly transformative experience. Additionally, explore other park activities such as visiting the golden monkeys or hiking to Dian Fossey's tomb.

    Day 6: Lake Kivu

    After your time among the gorillas, unwind by the shores of Lake Kivu in Gisenyi. Enjoy a relaxing day with options for kayaking, boat trips, or simply lounging by the lake. The peaceful atmosphere provides a perfect counterpoint to the earlier adventures in the mountains.

    Day 7: Nyungwe Forest National Park

    Journey south to Nyungwe Forest, one of the oldest rainforests in Africa. Here, you can walk along the Canopy Walkway for a bird’s eye view of the forest, and potentially spot chimpanzees and other primates during a forest trek.

    Day 8: Return to Kigali

    Return to Kigali for your final evening. Reflect on your incredible Rwanda safari over a farewell dinner or opt to extend your stay to further explore this vibrant country.
